HIA AT-110 AFV
The AT-110 is operated by a crew of three normally and has the capacity for up to seven troops in the troop compartments. Both compartments are protected from NBC warfare. The engine is mounted in the rear of the vehicle which prevents there from being a rear hatch. Instead there are hatches on either side of the troop compartment. There is a single firing port on each side of the troop compartment which are able to be closed when not in use.
The AT-110's hull is proof against 14.5 mm armour-piercing rounds. With additional passive armour package supplied by HWRL, the vehicle is protected over the frontal 60° arc against 30 mm APFSDS rounds. Additionally fitted with an integral ceramic armour package. It is said that this armour can protect against the 30 mm armour-piercing, fin-stabilised, discarding sabot rounds. Kevlar spall suppression liners cover the interior spaces.
Compared to tracked designs that fill the same role, the AT-110 has the advantage of being quite a bit faster. The vehicle has a single turret which mounts four separate weapon systems. This gives the vehicle incredible flexibility and one reason for its popularity. The turret can rotate up to 360 degrees and gun mount can elevate up to 75 degrees. The main gun is an ADEN 30mm auto cannon with five hundred rounds of ammunition. A fire control system allows the wheeled vehicle to engage helicopters.
Also in the turret is a 30 mm AG-17 automatic grenade launcher with four hundred rounds of ammunition. Finally, the vehicle mounts two box launchers each with eight mini-missiles. Often, when involved in security operations, these are not carried. For additional self defense, the vehicle is fitted with missile jammers on the sides of the turret.
The AT-110 also comes in the following twelve variants:
* AT-110/A-1: The original model with a 20 mm autocannon.
* AT-110/A-2: Export version with a 30 mm autocannon.
* AT-110/A-3: 55 mm Rifle tank gun/turret.
* AT-110/B-1: Equipped with tank turret and smoothbore 90 mm gun.
* AT-110/B-2: Anti-Air Vehicle, fitted with radar and 30 mm gatling cannon.
* AT-110/B-3: Command Vehicle with mobile mast.
* AT-110/C-1: Forward Observation Vehicle, more advanced IR sensor fitted.
* AT-110/C-2: Armored Recovery Vehicle.
* AT-110/C-3: Updated with fully stabilized gun, although elevation suffers because of this.
* AT-110/C-4: Version for International Operations with additional all-round armour and tropical climate kit.
* AT-110/D-1: Ambulance
* AT-110/D-2: ECM command vehicle with mobile mast
* Note: The forward observation, command and recovery vehicles are only armed with a 14.5mm heavy machine gun.
Specifications

Performance
Road Speed: 62.1 mph (100 kph)
Off Road: 37.3 mph (60 kph)
Terrain Handling: The vehicle is designed to traverse virtually all terrain and can climb at up to a 60% grade although at a much slower speed. It can also climb barriers and ford trenches. The vehicle can also handle side slopes of up to 30%.
Water Capabilities: Uses water jets to propel tank over the surface of the water but is not designed for deep water use. Using the water jets, the AT-110 can travel on the surface of water at 6.2 mph (10 kph/5.4 knots).
Maximum Range: 465 miles (748 km)
Engine Type: HVRL Diesel 6V53T Engine 275 hp (202.26 kW)
Transmission: MT653
Dimesions
Height: 9.78 feet (2.98 meters)
Width: 10.50 feet (3.20 meters)
Length: 25.06 feet (7.64 meters)
Weapon Systems
1. One 30-mm ADEN Automatic Cannon: Mounted in the turret as the main gun and the turret can rotate 360 degrees and can elevate up to 75 degrees and depress down 5 degrees. Cannon can be used against low flying aircraft as well as other ground vehicles.
Maximum Effective Range: 6,560 feet (2,000 meters / 2 kilometers).
Rate of Fire: 1,200 rpm
Payload: 1500 rounds
2. Coaxial Mounted AG-17 Automatic Grenade Launcher: Weapon can fire single shot or bursts of ten rounds and can inflict heavy damage when burst fired. Points the same direction as the main 30 mm cannon of the AT-110.
Maximum Effective Range: 3,000 feet (914 meters)
Fragmentation with a blast area of 12 ft
Armor Piercing with a blast area of 8 ft.
Payload: 500 Rounds.
3. Firing Ports (2): The AT-110 has two firing ports that allow soldiers in the troop bay to fire their guns out of the vehicle with one on either side. Firing ports can be closed in order to make the vehicle a sealed environment.
Sensory Equipment
* Anti-Aircraft Radar: Range of 10 miles (16 km); Capable of tracking up to 10 targets simultaneously, this radar serves to guide the top weapon mount in engaging aircraft, and providing early warning of incoming aircraft and missile attacks; The radar can be programmed to shut off immediately if it detects an aircraft firing a missile, incase the missile is a radar-homing HARM type. The radar is highly ineffective against ground targets .
* Full Infrared viewing mode: range of 2 miles (3.2 km), with IR searchlight
* Two Periscopes: Has up to x100 magnification for commander and driver to view out of while maneuvering the vehicle. Visual targeting sight with same magnification possible for gunner.
* Laser targeting system for main gun: range of 2,000 meters.
Safety Equipment
The armored vehicle is fully NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) protected
All equipment is hardened against EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse).
